Office Guidelines:

1. We still require mutual masking as we routinely see immune compromised clients, and we will continue to get up-to-date vaccines. These are ways we show up for others with inclusion and accessibility. Last updated Jan 2026.

2. Illness policy: please text or call our office to cancel or reschedule if you or anyone in your household is sick with a cold, flu or is covid positive. There is no charge for rescheduling or canceling for illness. If you or anyone in your household is sick or positive, please wait until everyone in your household is symptom free. Thank you!

3. We have switched to electronic record keeping using Hands Heal EHR. Please be sure we have an up-to-date email address for you and we will get you set up to fill out the required Forms electronically before your massage. This means more massage time for you!

4. Please do not wear any fragranced, perfumed or scented body products. For more information about our Fragrance free policy and accessibility

4. We will welcome you to wash your hands when you arrive and we will as well.

5. Before each and every session can begin, we will fill out an illness/COVID assessment form or you can fill out ahead of time using our electronic health records system.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Land: Our offices and home are located in the Seattle area, named after Chief Si'ahl, a famous leader of the Duwamish and Suquamish Peoples whose ideas on ethics, spirituality and environmentalism continues to be relevant today.

One of the Duwamish Nation's current projects is a reforestation “restoring 5800 square feet on the Duwamish Longhouse and Cultural Center property’s ecosystem to demonstrate how the Duwamish traditionally convert raw materials and plants into sustainable resources for food and medicinal health and materials and to encourage the public and raise educational awareness of the Duwamish Native culture and its relationship to the restored ecosystem. This reforestation is part of a broader movement to reintroduce native vegetation to the West Seattle community and to reinforce the importance of protecting native fish and wildlife that are vital to the past, present and future of the Duwamish people.” We pay Real Rent to the Duwamish People.

The Suquamish Nation is teaching us how to show up for ourselves investing in our health and joy, and in supporting nonprofits that provide essentials for our shared community.

The Muckleshoot Nation is doing great work on preserving and passing on culture, history and language through ceremony and celebrations like the Canoe Journey and offering a Lushootseed language app with lessons, songs and podcasts.

To learn more, visit these Nations' webpages and culture centers and there are many other excellent non-profits like Partnership with Native Americans which helps geographically isolated Native Americans, Chief Seattle Club, American Indian College Fund, Native American Rights Fund and local Tribal Nations projects, programs and events to support.
